Texas Credit Advisory
Underwriting depth. Asset quality. Special assets. Texas.
Underwriting depth
Banks often clear an exam that looks acceptable while commercial underwriting stays thin — especially missing rate and collateral sensitivities. That’s a credit problem with a scoped fix: look under the hood on a sample, hand you a fix list and a reusable sensitivity template.
Special assets — without locking headcount
It’s rarely smart to hire full-time special assets people unless the bank has a habit of making bad loans. Things still happen. Clean it up. Don’t lock capital in permanent headcount.
Term or project special assets coverage: triage, action plans, workout structure, board-ready status — then exit when the book is back under control.
